We process your data for the following purposes: - Providing and improving our services (performance of contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / legitimate interest). - Wine recognition, cellar management, and personalized recommendations (performance of contract). - Communicating with you about your account or service updates (performance of contract / legitimate interest). - Ensuring security and preventing misuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). - Complying with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with: - Cloud infrastructure providers (hosting and storage) located in the EU/EEA. - AI service providers for wine recognition, personalized recommendations, and sommelier features, where only the minimum necessary data is transmitted. - Payment processors (e.g., Apple, Google, and our web payment partners) for subscription management. - Authorities if required by law. - Supported third-party digital cellar services, but only when you explicitly choose to connect your Pourtrait account to them. Where data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EEA, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, unless retention is required by law. Please note that your individual wine ratings may be irreversibly anonymized and aggregated into community metrics; this aggregated data is not considered personal data and will be retained indefinitely.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. These include encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in any of our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of the Services without our prior written consent. Third-party wine data, critic scores, and wine descriptions accessed via the Services may be subject to third-party intellectual property rights. We use this data under licence or in accordance with applicable law.
